Bio:
A native to the San Francisco Bay Area, DJ Marc deVasconcelos has been spinning
House and Hip-hop/Electro/Mash-ups since 1999. DJ Marc's vast background of Old School Hip-hop/R&B, Rock,
80's New Wave and Disco helped shape his current sound and style of DJing. He is known for rockin a House set or killing it with
Hip-hop/Mash-ups and being able to mold different genres into the
mix.
DJ Marc was introduced to music performance at the age of 12, playing
drums in the school band. His experience in music includes guitar,
classical percussion, and writing music for drum-lines. He expands on
this in his creative process to make original tracks,
and of course for DJing!
Currently DJ Marc has been producing Remixes and Mash-ups with DJ
Billy Ruckus. "Sonstons" recently completed their first Electro
Remix of "Just Dance' by Lady Gaga
which is being distributed to DJ's everywhere.
